January 27, 2012Pelican System will assist Discovery Hotels and Resorts to coordinate online reservations throughout the group.
Pelican System has been appointed by Discovery Hotels & Resorts to implement centralized reservation management for their properties. One of Indonesia's growing number of international-standard hotels & resorts, Discovery has entrusted Pelican to manage their online booking in all properties.
Pelican System's multi-property CRS effectively and efficiently handles online booking from direct guests, travel agents, and corporate clients (B2C and B2B) through an interface embedded in hotel website. Travel agencies and other business partners can access the system through a secure login, using a single, user-friendly page for all transactions.
Discovery Hotels & Resorts has also implemented Pelican System's two-ways PMS interface, to reduce the time and effort of redundant manual reservation data entry and updating rates and allotments. Discovery is also using Pelican's Call Center feature for a human touch.
